Roxas-UrBoxas reviews Dead Nation (PS3)

One year ago I would have given this game one star and called it boring. Two months ago my mentality on this game changed... What could of caused this you ask? A friend. Previously I had played this game solo and it's quite tough even on the easiest mode for one man. Two months ago an old childhood friend and I living together were knocking back some rum and reflecting on good times when we decided we needed to talk and have a controller in our hands like old times. He hated fighting games, didn't want to play co-op resident evil 5, and we just wrapped up Portal 2 in our spare time. Looking through my list of downloadable games I realized I had Dead Nation, he seemed interested and I told him my experience with the game was bad since all I ever got was overpowered. He showed me his muscles which he called his 'guns' and said "Ain't nobody gonna over power this!"

Turns out with two players this game is a lot more fun. You have two targets so all the zombies aren't just going after one man. I specialized in rapid fire gun-play, and my friend went hand thrown items and slow shooting powerful weaponry. We had a lot of fun playing as a team so this game deserves a far better review. However, just know, you should play with a friend.
