Atlus lets me down again. I'm sick of how they cut corners and their games always end up being very lame and feeling more like work than fun. It's based in the real world but everything is messed up *cough* the world ends with you *cough*, it plays like final fantasy tactics but with bad animation, and when you fight something it turns into dragon quest first person RPG style. I can't understand how Atlus keeps making crappy games and still succeeds. I'll never get it.

Guess because people don't think the games are crappy, Atlus is one of the most popular game publishers around.

No Atlus, no US version of Demon's Soul.
They only publish games, I don't think they develop any.
Yeah, I think you may be right on the developing side. I'm just sick of them, they have 1 gold gem once every 2 years for me out of 15 games. I have wasted so much money trusting their "innovative" ideas that are just ripping off other games and not doing it well. Eternal Poison? Ick, Nocturne, meh, Devil Survivor, Persona... I'd say Disgaea and Odin Sphere were the only two games they made that I sat down and enjoyed. Out of countless that I've tried.

I want to pick up Demon's Souls, but I dunno if I can trust it.
Wow, well you seem to be in the small group in that opinion, everyone seems to love the Persona games.
I preordered the Deluxe Edition of Demon's Soul, still haven't played it, it's on my back list.

I'd still say it's awesome though, since it's made by the same people who made the King's Field series, and I love those.
I've been looking at videos, I think I may buck up and give Atlus one more chance.
Man I want a fifth King's Field, don't think they will make one though.

At least they released that Sword of Moonlight kit, it lets people make their own King's Field style games.

They are already a few pretty good fan games out, I really need to play them..
Homebrew? Via what system? PC?
Will keep the notification on my items so I can check it out tomorrow.
I got another reason people love Atlus, some of the guides from the deluxe edition of Demon's Soul had some issue, they are offering to replace them 100% free.
Yeah, I like when companies do that. Nintendo is really good for making up with it's short comings too.
Actually, Atlus has DEVELOPED most if not all of the SMT series.
@EarthboundX Yeah, Atlus is probably my favorite current JRPG developer because of it.
