Pretty much the same as the rest of the series before this title, one big glaring difference though that actually put the scary into this game was the Nemesis. He stalked you non-stop and little details from the first two games would not work against this guy. For example, if you ever got swarmed in the old games, leave the room, they wouldn't come after you... You try that on this guy he's smash the door open and invite himself right to your brains.

This game wrapped up the Racoon City phase of the story which I was getting quite bored of by this point. These games have really evolved over time, it's a great series but still needs some tweaks.
